Kim Jong-min, a member of the Korean group Koyote and a TV personality, is expecting his first child at the age of 47.
On the upcoming episode of KBS 2’s The Return of Superman, Kim shared the happy news himself, saying, “I’m going to be a father.” His wife is currently 17 weeks pregnant.
Kim revealed that he stopped drinking alcohol for a year and focused on his health because he wanted to have a child. He also thanked viewers, saying he felt the baby came into his life quickly because of their support.
The episode will also feature Kim talking about the baby’s gender, his pregnancy-related dreams, and the moment he first learned about the pregnancy.
Kim married a woman 11 years younger than him in April last year. The production team congratulated the couple and asked viewers to look forward to seeing Kim begin his new journey as a father.
